Q Clay is made with Syrah grapes from block Q of our El Chequén estate. The head-trained vines are located on this wild, steep slope with views of the entire property. The quaternary clay soils are granitic in origin, and found at the foot of the Coastal Mountains, all of which combine to produce a wine with formidable structure, a broad palate, and strong, complex aromas.
